Members of the Social Justice Team nominate a movie, which is then discussed, if approved, added to a pending movie list. Movies are selected because they deal with relevant past, present and/or future social justice issues.
The movie’s title, date released, a brief summary, together with the time and date (fourth Friday of the month) of the showing (in the Fellowship Hall), will be published in the church’s Sunday bulletin and monthly newsletter (The Journey), if available before their deadlines for submitting the information.
At the movie’s conclusion the lights are turn back on, and open dialogue begins. The rules for discussion are — you respectfully listen to the views of all presents, and do no harm with your words.
The following are other short videos viewed during various Social Justice venues. Each can be selected and viewed.
